Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour
Happy to be the Swedish winner of Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour Order of Merit.
I am very grateful to have 6 tournaments close to home. Five in Sweden and one in Denmark. I love to travel around Europe, but it is expensive and tiring to travel all the time. So despite the rainy weather, I am very happy to have spent most of my summer in Sweden.
Unfortunately, the tournament in Varberg got rained out. We played one round of golf with no points and half the prize fund. I played like win it or lose it. I played solid golf but made a 10 (+6) on a par 4 and finished T58. Well well, we move.
I played okay the week after in Kungsbacka as well but did not get into a flow. I missed putts and had a hard time making birdies. Finished T29. After Kungsbacka I experienced pain and stiffness in my neck. My back and neck are the first to tell me when I need to rest. With help from my physical coach in Malmö, Jonas at Elitcenter, I was able to play the Ahlsell Final at Elisefarm. I played alright and finished T15.
It is clear what I need to work on and I am motivated to work hard at the areas of my game that need to improve. I am very excited for a busy fall schedule with tournaments in Europe and practice in the US.
